Workspace Optimization | 3/25/21

Ended up buying a couple of things for my desk space at the office. Got a whiteboard that I plan on placing right next to me or behind me so I can easily jot down things like I do at home. I also bought a lap desk for work as well. This one is bigger than the one I currently have at home. It includes a space for a mouse as well since that was a minor point of friction with my current lap desk. They should be coming in tomorrow so I'll probably start utilizing them next week. Excited for both of these additions.

I also tested the lav mics that I got a couple of weeks ago. They sound high quality. Eager to use them on the move while recording a podcast in the coming week or so I'm sure I'll be recording 1+ episodes while on my yurt glamping solo retreat. I think it also has a use for bhajans and jams instead of just using the default phone audio recording. And with 2 mics, I can separate them by instrument / gents-ladies / spatial config to get a solid balance. That can only really be tested in a live session so will probably have to wait a few more months for that.
