Won't Show Up On The Stat Sheet | 2/2/21

Pretty much an ideal day yesterday so nothing really eventful to speak of. It's these days that might have the largest ROI b/c I'm doing essentially everything that I want to. "They won't necessarily show up on the stat sheet" but it's the things that need to be done to make gradual, incremental progress.

I also like the fact that I've normalized waking up early & being ~as productive as I can in those morning hours. Waking up at 5:30 am I would now consider late b/c I know how valuable this morning time can be. But also, it's not how much sleep I get or how much time I'm awake. But how I use the time while I'm awake.

Anyways, chilled with Jaspreet yesterday and I did a better job of being open with him when he asked me questions and even otherwise. I did pause more to respond thoughtfully but the smoothness and the flow of my speech can be drastically improved.

Related to that, currently reading How to Write & Deliver Effective Speeches and it's all solid info but it's literally by the book. It's all basically stuff we learned in grade school so nothing groundbreaking there. But since it's only 100 pages, it'll be a quick read and good refresher of those concepts that I can be more aware of in practicing.
