Sshhh, I have a little secret (that you can share)
I published my first book!! 📚
Self-Investor: The First Book To Read On Your Personal Growth Journey is available for purchase!
→ The current young adult has access to more information, many times overload, than any generation before.
→ They are also looking to start their personal growth journey earlier and earlier.
→ Additionally, there isn’t anything that provides a roadmap on how to approach personal growth as a whole.
I wrote Self-Investor with those 3 ideas in mind.
Youth and young adults are left to institutions, algorithms, and their own means to find their way in this fast changing world.
This was my experience.
I stumbled and fumbled my way as a recent college graduate, adding the uncertainty of COVID a couple years into my career.
Throughout the 6-7 years after college, I ended up investing $38,000 in myself. It started out small with books, journals, conferences, and then stacked up with courses, cohorts, and coaches.
I share my journey in bite-sized chapters of each dollar spent and how each Self-Investment impacted who I am today.
I wrote this book for the person I was when I graduated college. To shed light on how learning still continues after graduation. To provide the easy language, frameworks, and downloadable tools for young adults STARTING their personal growth journey.
There are lots of great (and not so great 😬) books, courses, podcasts, and coaches to invest in. But how does a 22 year old make sense of all these offers when their brain still isn’t even fully developed?
If reading Atomic Habits, listening to Jay Shetty, and working with a coach are the ‘main workout’, then this book is the ‘warm up’.
Hence the subtitle, The FIRST Book To Read On Your Personal Growth Journey 😀
If you’re a recent college grad, then this book is PERFECT for you!
If you’re around recent grads, young adults, and even youth on any regular basis, this could be one of the books you recommend to them.
I’m on a mission to help young adults become confident 1st time Self-Investors. This book is a major part of that mission!
Feel free to share this post and the book, if it feels right!
