How cramming is one of the best things you did in college that you can do in the working world
⬇️
…jk, don’t do it!
The educational system has rewarded who can cram and memorize the most amount of information for a singular moment in time. (aka test)
This is the ANTITHESIS of TRUE LEARNING!
True learning means it’s a part of your identity. You’ve integrated and internalized it.
That means it’s part of your long-term memory (mentally AND physically).
Cramming just improves your capacity for short-term memory.
So that helps with short-term change. But not long-term change.
So you’ve gotta unlearn cramming as a way to learn if you truly want to learn and EMBODY it.
That’s one way I’d invest in myself as a 22 year old recent grad…just sayin’
