A simple framework for all you recent grads when you’re networking.

In any conversation, a combination of any of these 5 things will always be thrown around.

It’s up to you to become aware of them and follow these breadcrumbs.

C = Content

O = Organization

O = Offer

P = Person

E = Event

Content: “Hey you should read this article.” “Oh I thought of this podcast after our conversation.” “I recommend this book.”

Organization: “You should check out X company - they kinda specialize in what you’re looking for.” “Look up Y non-profit, maybe you can volunteer there.”

Offer: “I think you’d really love joining this community, it’s only $30/month.” “Oh, I can help you with this problem next week!”

Person: “Hey you should meet this person, y’all have similar interests.” “Let me introduce you to X, they might know more about what you’re looking for.”

Event: “There’s this event going on next week, let me send you the link.” “Oh I came across this group that hosts this event at this time and place every month, you might like it.”
